Sintica wine complex inherited the experience and scientific and technological achievements of the Experimental Agricultural Centre of the Bulgarian Southwest.
The modern heir of centuries-old winemaking traditions
The wine complex is the successor of an ancient traditions in viticulture and winemaking, dating from the time of the Thracians. The vineyards of the winery are located in an exceptionally favorable growing region along the Struma valley near the Rupite area, the extinct volcano of Kozhuh and the ancient Thracian town of Herakleia Sintica.
The completely renovated wine complex has won many national and international
awards, including four Golden Rhyton Awards in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2016.
